REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - Design and Build of Wide Body Category D Ambulift for Isle of Man Airport – Ref: SFS/DOI-AM/001<br /><br />The Isle of Man Government wishes to explore the market and identify interest from experienced contractors to provide a wide body, category D Ambulift suitable for use at the Isle of Man Airport. The Ambulift must be compatible with ATR72 and A319/20 aircraft, meeting the required sill heights for safe and efficient boarding and disembarkation. Both new and second-hand units will be considered, with a preference for new equipment.<br /><br />Background<br />The Isle of Man Airport is seeking to enhance its ground support equipment by procuring an Ambulift capable of servicing a range of aircraft, including ATR72 and A319/20 models. The Ambulift should facilitate the safe and dignified transfer of passengers with reduced mobility, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation and accessibility standards.<br /><br /><br />Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to "Express Interest".<br /><br />****PLEASE NOTE - Once you have clicked on `Express Interest` you will receive an email to advise that `Tender Documents have been published to the portal` and a `RFI Documents` tab will appear. This tab will provide you with any additional information documents. In order to respond to this stage of the process you will need to `Opt-In` and complete the `Form of Acknowledgment (PIN/RFI)` questionnaire, upload your RFI Response document and click `Submit Return` before the Expression of Interest deadline as detailed below.****<br /><br />When the RFI documents have been made available involved suppliers will receive notification via email and the tender documents can be accessed from the `My Tenders` area of this website and selecting the `View Details` button on this project and selecting the `RFI Documents` tab.<br /><br />Expressions of Interest and RFI Responses will only be accepted until 12 NOON 3rd February 2026. <br /><br />Please allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns WILL NOT be permitted.<br /><br />Any questions relating to this tender should be made via correspondence on the website and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above.<br />
