Guildhall Refurbishment

Tender description

The council will be carrying out a two stage appointment and is for the refurbishment of Winchester Guildhall, to include internal and external works. For the avoidance of doubt, the contractor will be appointed with a single procurement but the resulting appointment will be phased over two stages, stage one, The Pre-Construction Phase, stage two, The Construction Phase. The works are to include the following: - Full redecoration internally - Removal of ceilings in some areas to open up existing vaulted ceilings - Replacement of existing Toilet facilities - Installation of new toilet facilities to the first floor - Removal of existing partitions to open up office space - Creation of external balcony space to include potential strengthening works and handrails - Replacement of Mechanical and Electrical plant - External refurbishment to existing stonework - External refurbishment and possible replacement of existing roof coverings and rainwater goods. - The restoration of the masonry fenestrations and associated works to Abbey House, the office of the Mayor of Winchester Lot 123792: Guildhall Refurbishment The council will be carrying out a two stage appointment and is for the refurbishment of Winchester Guildhall, to include internal and external works.
