Tender description
London Borough of Brent and London Borough of Lewisham requires the provision of a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution to replace legacy VPN and Secure Web Gateway services which present limitations in performance, scalability, and security. Officers have considered whether the services can be provided in-house but have concluded that the specialist nature of cloud-based cyber security solutions is best provided by an external contractor. The use of a Framework Agreement has been determined to be the most appropriate and cost-effective procurement route given the complexity of the requirement and the need to deliver at pace.
