2026 Expressions of Interest for Tynwald Day Enhancements Ref 2026-PIN-001<br /><br />The Clerk of Tynwald’s Office invites expressions of interest from experienced event managers to provide a service co-ordinating the programme of enhancements that are part of the annual Tynwald Day celebrations held annually St. John’s.<br /><br />The proposed contract is for a period of three years, with the option of extending to five years, with year one being Tynwald Day 2027.<br /><br />The enhancements programme for Tynwald Day focuses on the wider visitor and community experience surrounding the formal Ceremony proceedings on Tynwald Hill. The successful supplier will be expected to organise a range of enhancements around St. John’s to provide additional opportunities for visitors to learn, participate and celebrate Manx culture. <br /><br />We would like to invite parties who have experience in managing public events or displays to attend the Tynwald Day Ceremony 2026 on Monday 6th July and submit a short proposal after this date outlining how they would deliver these services with an approximate budget for performances of £5,000. The submitted proposal should include a summary of previous experience and include administrative costs to deliver the full Tynwald Day enhancements programme. <br /><br />Scope<br />• Planning, arranging and budgeting all enhancements events, shows and displays associated with Tynwald Day.<br />• Co-ordinating some supplementary activities associated with Tynwald Day.<br /><br />Out of Scope<br />• Individual stallholders at the Tynwald Fair.<br />• The formal Tynwald Ceremony.<br />• The hire of marquees.<br />• The Viking Village encampment.<br /><br />Further Information is included in the information pack. <br /><br />Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to "Express Interest".<br /><br />Any questions relating to this tender should be made via correspondence on the website and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above.<br /><br />****PLEASE NOTE - Once you have clicked on `Express Interest` you will receive an email to advise that `Tender Documents have been published to the portal` and a `PIN Documents` tab will appear.
