Tender description

Network Rail is issuing this preliminary market engagement notice to better understand the current capabilities of the supply market for Permanent Way works across the Eastern routes. Information regarding structure of the framework, values and types of work can be found within the notice. Network Rail have provided details on the RISQS codes below, and have provided draft technical work scopes for the two areas. Please note that at this stage, the RISQS codes required are not confirmed and the technical work scopes have not received final sign off so may be subject to change. Please review the RISQS codes below alongside the technical work scopes and complete the questionnaire using the link contained in the attachments if interested. The following RISQS codes must be held at contract award, to be awarded the Eastern framework. • C.B.1.1: Plain Line / Install • C.B.1.5: Track on Longitudinal Timbers / Install • C.B.2.1: Switches & Crossings Conventional / Install • C.B.3: Track Drainage/ Install • C.B.4.1: Cable Pulling and Laying / Service • C.B.4.2: Troughing Services / Service • C.D.7.6 Path & Safe Cess – Cess Pathways/ Install The following RISQS codes must be held at contract award, to be awarded the Anglia framework. • C.B.1.1: Plain Line / Install / Design • C.B.1.5: Track on Longitudinal Timbers / Install / Design • C.B.2.1: Switches & Crossings Conventional / Install / Design • C.B.3: Track Drainage/ Install/ Design • C.B.4.1: Cable Pulling and Laying / Service • C.B.4.2: Troughing Services / Service • C.D.7.6 Path & Safe Cess – Cess Pathways/ Install / Design
