Derbyshire VCFSE Commissioning Differently Event - Bakewell, Thursday 25 June 2026

This event is for VCFSE Organisations in Derbyshire Derbyshire County Council would like to welcome VCFSE Organisations in Derbyshire to the next Commissioning Differently workshop on Thursday 25 June 09.45 - 13:00 (9:30 registration) at Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre, Bakewell, Agricultural Way, Bakewell, DE45 1AH Members of the Derbyshire VCFSE Alliance, along with Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care, and Public Health are co-designing the agenda, drawing from the key action points identified at the April workshop (see attached). Derbyshire Children’s Services and the Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board will also be in attendance. The June workshop will focus on moving from shared insight to practical action by agreeing a clear vision and core principles for commissioning and developing a draft roadmap with achievable short-term “quick wins” and longer-term priorities. We will identify the practical steps we can take to more relational and co-designed approaches to commissioning, reducing barriers and strengthening collective responses to key challenges. The session will also spotlight how one of our VCFSE partners are using data to evidence outcomes, impact, and cost benefit, with opportunity for us to consider how their approach might support the development of a Derbyshire framework for demonstrating outcomes.
