Contract Award Notice - Landfill Gas to Electricity, Cost Commission

Tender description

This project will commission independent, quality-assured evidence on the costs, operational characteristics and revenues of landfill-gas-to-electricity generation in Great Britain. It will focus on continued electricity generation and directly attributable supporting systems, using a structured operator survey, targeted follow-up engagement and third-party triangulation to compile an anonymised dataset covering historical actuals and forward projections. The work will capture key cost and operational drivers, including gas decline, load factors, gas quality, reinvestment needs and commercial arrangements. Outputs will include an Excel-based data workbook, validation log, technical report, and a presentation setting out the methodology, key findings, uncertainties and benchmarked cost evidence.
