Monaghan County Council wishes to tender for: Shambles Riverbank Stabilization and Cleaning Project

The proposed project involves riverbank stabilisation and targeted dredging works along the Shambles River in Monaghan. The works will address damaged and eroded riverbanks and remove excessive silt, debris, and invasive vegetation that have accumulated within the river channel. Cleaning and reshaping the riverbed will restore channel capacity, improve water flow, and strengthen bank integrity, helping to reduce the risk of flooding and further erosion in the surrounding area.
