Wigan Council Events Team delivers a year-round programme of high-quality corporate and community events designed to drive town centre footfall, support local businesses, and strengthen community engagement in line with the Progress with Unity strategy. This Expression of Interest (EOI) relates to the appointment of an Artisan Market Operator to deliver markets across a core programme of four key events annually. Please Note: The purpose of this exercise is to gauge the level of interest in this opportunity and obtain information from the market, so all responses are very much appreciated. For the avoidance of doubt, this Expression of Interest (EOI) is for the purpose of conducting market engagement only and does not formally begin a procurement process or constitute any commitment by Wigan Council to undertake any procurement exercise. As a result of the EOI, the Council may invite either a single supplier, multiple suppliers or no suppliers, to provide a formal quote for the services required. Interested parties must note that a response to this EOI does not guarantee an invitation to participate in this, or any future procurement or contract that Wigan Council may conduct.
