The LLTNPA Peatland ACTION team has previously designed part of a peatland restoration project at Carrick Castle Estate. The aim is to now expand the project to include additional areas of the estate for peatland restoration delivery in FY 2026/27 Lot 1: The LLTNPA Peatland ACTION team has previously designed part of a peatland restoration project at Carrick Castle Estate. The aim is to now expand the project to include additional areas of the estate for peatland restoration delivery in FY 2026/27; these areas are referred to as the Project Extension. Peat depth and condition data has already been collected for the Project Extension. We require the areas in the Project Extension to be assessed for peatland restoration and, where suitable, a peatland restoration delivery plan to be produced for them.
