APPOINTMENT OF INTEGRATED SUPPLY TEAM (IST) - FOR UPGRADE OF MULTIPLE HWRC SITES (PHASE 3) CAPITAL PROJECT

Tender description

Mid Ulster District Council intends to appoint a suitably qualified Main Contractor to undertake improvement works across seven Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) within the district. The works will be delivered under a single NEC4 ECC Option A contract, with completion managed on a sectional basis. Each HWRC site will form an individual Section, enabling the Contractor to programme and hand over works sequentially while maintaining operational continuity. The indicative order of sectional completion is: 1. Tullyvar 2. Ballymacombs 3. Moneymore 4. Draperstown 5. Castledawson 6. Cookstown 7. Fivemiletown This sequence reflects a practical progression through the network and may be refined at pre‑start stage. The works include refurbishment of welfare and office accommodation, installation of new welfare units, drainage works, fencing, kerbing, surfacing, white lining, signage, installation of compactors/bin lifters, associated electrical/service works, and general civil works – across 7 council sites.
