TENNIS COURT BOOKINGS AND COACHING SERVICES TENDER

Tender description

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a comprehensive tennis court booking and coaching service. The service will support community participation, increase physical activity levels, and deliver high-quality tennis opportunities for all ages and abilities, whilst protecting club access. NNC are looking to appoint a single operator to manage the identified outdoor tennis sites as a business opportunity. The council will give the successful operator license to operate on their behalf; through which the operator can generate income via pay and play, membership fees, coaching programmes and one to one tennis coaching. The provider will be expected to operate in line with national governing body standards and local strategic priorities for leisure, health, inclusion, and community development. NNC fees and charges for court bookings will be agreed and applied. The courts initially identified for outsourced management are Burton Latimer (Kettering), North Park (Kettering) and Ise Lodge (Kettering) within the contract term. Development and refurbishment of the 2 latter sites will require external funding and operator support. The Council is seeking investment from the successful operator to include smart access gates, court booking system and partnership contribution with funding applications.
