Elections and Electoral Registration Print Contract

Tender description

North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the "Council"), on behalf of the appointed Electoral Registration Officer (hereafter referred to as "ERO") and Returning Officer (hereafter referred to as "RO"), are looking for a complete printing and mailing solution for Electoral Services covering both election and electoral registration requirements, covering the entire geographical area of North Northamptonshire. The Council is a unitary authority, covering three full parliamentary constituencies, thirty-one unitary wards, with an electorate of 273,000 and 165,000 residential properties approximately. Election requirements include, but are not restricted to, the printing of materials associated with referendums, local government, parliamentary and mayoral elections. Electoral registration requirements include, but are not restricted to, the printing and despatch of materials associated with the registration of electors, the annual canvass, absent voting and automated household response services. Integration of the printing and mailing solution into the existing day to day business operations of the Council will ensure existing processes and activities, carried out on our Electoral Management System (EMS), result in relevant forms, letters and general correspondence being created with the ability to securely transfer all required data digitally onto the printing supplier for prompt printing and dispatch.
