MOD Mental Health Contract

Tender description

These contracts cover access to inpatient and outpatient mental health services for serving personnel. The prime contractor is Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and it works with the following NHS trusts (known as The Joining Forces Network): Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Grampian, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. Patients are admitted from the UK and from overseas and managed through a single point of access through MPFT. The model of care is an evidenced based assessment, stabilisation/treatment and a focus on returning people to work as quickly as is clinically safe. Midlands Partnership University Foundation Trust intends to award each of the above organisations a contract under the Provider Selection Regime Direct Award C.
