HMRC G7 Tax Professional External Assessment

Tender description

HMRC is seeking to appoint a supplier to develop and deliver external assessment services for the HMRC Grade 7 Tax Professional programme. The requirement includes the design, development, and delivery of assessment standards covering Corporation Tax, Employer Duties and Personal Tax, aligned to HMRC capability frameworks and apprenticeship-style assessment methodologies. The appointed supplier will be responsible for developing assessment materials, supporting portfolio-based evidence collection (up to 25 pieces per candidate), and conducting professional discussions to evaluate candidate competence. The services will be delivered to approximately 500 learners over the lifetime of the contract. The contract will run for up to 36 months and will include both development and delivery phases. HMRC may require optional services during the contract term, including adjustments to scope, volumes, or duration, in accordance with the contract terms. No guarantee is provided regarding the value or volume of work. All services must be delivered in accordance with HMRC's requirements as set out in the full suite of procurement and contract documentation.
