Closed Landfill Site Management and Maintenance - WLBC

Tender description

West Lancashire Borough Council is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake monitoring and maintenance of two closed landfill sites at Alder Lane, Parbold & Mill Dam Lane, Burscough. Primarily to monitor the gases and leachate from both sites and to maintain the two current airless leachate stripping plants, gas vents & boreholes. In addition, an initial audit of the sites is required to establish a benchmark for the condition/lifespan of the assets. To ensure WLBC meets its obligations to monitor and limit any environmental impact of the landfill operations at its closed landfill sites.
