Tender description

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) is progressing the redevelopment of Birch and Edwards Courts, and Frank Price Court including Henfield Walk and Tenterden Walk, as part of its wider regeneration work linked to Manchester City Council’s £500m Civic Centre programme. The sites, located adjacent to the Civic Centre regeneration area, comprise existing residential accommodation that may be demolished and replaced with high-quality new homes. Proposals are expected to deliver a net increase in homes, including one site of over 200 apartments and another of over 120 homes, alongside other house types. Given their prominent locations, design quality, placemaking and integration with the wider regeneration area will be key. WCHG is seeking practices with relevant experience of delivering residential schemes of comparable scale and complexity. Keywords: Architect, RIBA
