Tender description

Nottingham City Council is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of the following services. Lot 1 A Public Health Funeral is a legal obligation delivered by Nottingham City Council in fulfilment of its statutory duty where a person dies within the Council’s administrative boundary and there are no known next of kin, or where no individual is willing or able to make appropriate funeral arrangements. This duty arises under Section 46 of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984. Lot 2 The Nottingham Funeral Scheme has been established to provide residents with access to a high-quality funeral package that offers value for money while ensuring a dignified and respectful service.
