A Consultant Team to Develop and Produce Place Plans for Craigavon, Lurgan and Portadown, within the Craigavon Urban Area

The aim of place shaping within Community Planning is; • To improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the selected 'place', through harnessing place shaping powers and functions within Council and from partners. • To ensure that the aspirations of the community plan are realised at a local level and bring other borough wide plans to life locally to include spatial elements and following key messages from the Council's preferred options paper. • To build plans for a place in which local communities are integral to its development and delivery. To date the Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Community Planning Partnership (with council acting as lead partner) has developed and launched the Armagh Place Plan (May 2022), Banbridge Place Plan (Mar 2024) and the Dromore Place Plan (May 2025). The Community Planning Department, Council as lead partner for the ABC Community Planning Partnership, is seeking to appoint a consultant team to develop and produce place plans for the three centres of Craigavon, Lurgan and Portadown within the Craigavon Urban Area. ## Contract award
