Tender description

The College is undertaking essential refurbishment works to six teaching rooms and office/resource accommodation. These spaces form part of the core teaching estate and are heavily used. The proposed refurbishment involves internal upgrade works only, with no expansion of the building footprint, no ground disturbance, and no change to land use. The project primarily replaces end of life internal elements — lighting, ceilings, doors, flooring, glazing, power and data — to bring the facilities up to modern standards. The works will take place within a live educational environment. As such the Principal Contractor will be responsible for managing their sub-contractors and suppliers to deliver the works with minimum disruption to the College’s ongoing operations.
