A supplier is required to design, supply and install the new bearings, and carry out any modifications required to facilitate this in a way that results in a more readily maintainable solution. The same supplier is also tasked with collating all the O&M information currently held by BCP into one comprehensive document adding in the requirements for the new bearings. The supplier will then be tasked with providing maintenance and parts supply support for both Twin Sails and Poole Bridge for the remaining contract term.
