Tender description
Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering Domestic Abuse Support Services for Herefordshire Council. Herefordshire Council has statutory duties under Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 to assess need and secure safe accommodation and associated support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse and their children. The Council is committed to working with the market to ensure services are safe, trauma informed, inclusive and focused on recovery, wellbeing and long term independence. Dates of the engagement: Face to face Sessions at Plough Lane, Hereford HR4 0LE 1) 03 June 2026 at 9:30 – 11:30 2) 03 June 2026 at 12:15 – 14:15 Due to the room size no more than 2 representatives from each organisation may attend, and allocation will be on a first come, first served basis. Online Sessions 3) 04 June 2026 at 10:00 – 12:00 via Microsoft teams 4) 04 June 2026 at 13:00 – 15:00 via Microsoft teams Each event will cover a range of topics including information of where to find council opportunities, how to successfully bid for them and specific information about this project together with opportunities to ask questions and network. Please note that each session will cover the same content, therefore there is no need to attend more than one session. ALL SUPPLIERS WHO WISH TO ATTEND WOULD NEED TO EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST by 17:00 on Friday 29 May 2026. Please note, for those choosing to attend a Face-to-Face session, we will be unable to admit any attendees who have not booked in advance of the event.
