End of Life and Palliative Care Services - North Yorkshire

Tender description

The service will provide specialist palliative care to support individuals, and their families / carers affected by terminal illness. The service will be delivered by a multi-disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers, physiotherapists, complementary therapists, chaplains, and counsellors. The service will include the provision of: • Inpatient admissions for pain and symptom management including psychological issues and end of life care. • Day Hospice services for pain and symptom management, psychological support, and respite. • Specialist lymphoedema care. • Bereavement counselling services for adults and children. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB are intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is £102,106. Contract term - 05/05/2026 - 04/05/2027
