Day Opportunities (Learning Disabilities)

Tender description

The Council wishes to recommission five day opportunities services, two in North and three in South Kirklees, for adults with learning disabilities, some of whom may also have mental health and/or physical and sensory impairments. The Service Specification seeks to set out clearly what services and standards are required from the Service Provider and will be reviewed annually by the Council. This Service Specification in conjunction with the Contract Terms and Conditions defines the Contract requirements for Service Providers providing Services purchased by the Council. The Service Provider(s) will provide the following range of day opportunities throughout Kirklees from which the Service Provider will provide supervised support and a range of structured opportunities and activities that are flexible, meet the needs and preferences of the service users. This will include access to ordinary community based facilities within the resources available, in small groups or on an individual basis. This contract will commence on 1st July 2026 - 30th June 2027 with the option to extend by 2 x 3 months. The total annual value of the Service is £2,816,765.02
