Barnsley Local Provider Forum – Residential, Fostering and Supported Accommodation Providers

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council invites providers of Residential Children’s Homes, Independent Fostering Agencies (IFAs), and Supported Accommodation to attend our Local Provider Forum. This forum forms part of a new programme of quarterly provider engagement, focused on building strong, open and collaborative relationships with the market and supporting the development of high‑quality, sustainable provision for children and young people in Barnsley. The event provides a dedicated space for strategic dialogue, shared understanding and partnership working. This event is suitable for residential children’s home providers Independent Fostering Agencies (IFAs) and supported accommodation providers. This including those who currently operate in Barnsley, as well as providers interested in working in Barnsley or the surrounding areas. Attendance does not form part of any tender process and will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in future commissioning activity. Engagement at this event is for the purposes of market development, relationship building and strategic engagement only, as set out in Barnsley’s Sufficiency Strategy.
