Access Improvements at Wandle Park, Colliers Wood

Tender description

To supply all labour, machinery, and materials required to construct a new entrance track into Wandle Park to facilitate all year-round access for tractors, vehicles, and heavy machinery. The total area is approximately 108m2. The proposed route for the track will be set out on site, and then topsoil and turf will be stripped off across the area to a depth of approximately 100-150mm with all arisings spread and landscaped along the side of the proposed new access track. 150mm x 50mm softwood timber edging will then be installed along both sides of the access track secured to 50mm x 50mm softwood timber pegs installed at 1.2m intervals. Geo-textile membrane will then be installed across the area and Type 1 Primary Aggregate imported to site, spread to a depth of 150mm, levelled, and compacted to form the finished surface. A slight camber will be applied to the surface of the access track to ensure that water is effectively drained from the surface. The sides of the access track will be topsoiled using site won topsoil and grass seed broadcast across the area before it is hand raked. Site to be left neat and tidy upon completion.
