Tender description

The Port of Felixstowe Trinity Terminal Berths 6 & 7 currently has ship mooring bollards that are rated at 100 tonnes and 150 tonnes. To accommodate the ultra large container vessels Berths 6 & 7, 15 number bollards are to be upgraded to twin 200 tonne bollards. In 2027, the Port of Felixstowe is taking delivery of 4 new ship to shore quay cranes. To facilitate the stowing of quay cranes during storm conditions, the Port requires the strengthening of the existing rear crane beam in the locations where the cranes will be stowed. Whilst taking possession of the berths, to undertake these works the fenders and fixing chains along the two berths are also to be replaced. Keywords: marine, bollard, fender
