Quick Quote - Waste Permit draft and determination for Strategic Waste Landfill – Old Turkeyland Quarry

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide Waste Permit draft and determination for Strategic Waste Landfill to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture to be carried out by November 2026.<br /><br />The Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure are undertaking the development of a Stable Non-Reactive Hazardous Waste/Non-Hazardous Landfill as a Strategic Waste Landfill Facility (SWLF) for the island for up to around 67,000m3 which means the life of the waste cells will be between 10 years and 34 years. A period of 12-24 months may also be required for final restoration of the site. <br /><br />Technical assistance is required for the waste licence (equivalent to UK Environmental Permit) application determination and draft licence advice to enable DEFA to review, determine and issue a waste disposal licence for the Strategic Waste Landfill Facility. This is to be benchmarked against UK (England, Northern Ireland and Wales) landfill environmental protection standards considering the Isle of Man situation and landfill policy. <br /><br />The attached documentation consists of:<br />- The Quick Quote Request Document<br /><br />The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on 13th April 2026 and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on 27th April 2026 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline. <br /><br />Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.<br /><br />After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.<br /><br />If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.<br /><br />Please note, unless otherwise advised, all Quick Quote Competitions will be subject to the Isle of Man Government Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and/or Services, a copy of which can be found under the `Supplier Information & Privacy Policies` tab.<br />
