St James’s Hospital needs to replace a VCTE liver scanner for the Department of GU Medicine and Infectious Diseases Department. The requirement is for: - A non-evasive solution for the detection of liver steatosis and/or liver fibrosis - A device that uses Vibration-Controlled Transient Elastography (VCTE) technique for liver stiffness measurement (LSM), and controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) - Proof of diagnostic performance evidenced by peer review in widely recognised publications - CE marked and in full compliance with MDR 2017/745 regulation - A portable solution - Suitable for use for adult patients, including bariatric patients - Availability of parts and maintenance by qualified personnel guaranteed for 8 years from date of purchase St James’s Hospital needs to replace a VCTE liver scanner for the Department of GU Medicine and Infectious Diseases Department.
