Countywide Sexual Violence Support Service, Inclusive of Countywide ISVA Service

Tender description

The service is aimed to enable survivors to access support at a time when they needed it. To provide emotional support and an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate service to victims and survivors of all ages and genders who have experienced sv. The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire requires a sexual violence support service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The specification is made up of three intrinsically linked parts: 1. An equitable countywide all age and all gender Independent Sexual Violence Adviser Service (“ISVA”) comprised of ten Full Time Equivalents (“FTE”) ISVAs (of which a minimum of two FTE staff should operate as Child and Young Person ISVAs) and a single ISVA Navigator for triage and resilience. (This is correct at the time of drafting.) 2. An equitable countywide all age and all gender emotional and practical support service which enables support to be accessed, where possible, in a way which meets the needs of victims and survivors. 3. An enhanced emotional support service for adults and children aged 14 - 16 years (and their families) of any gender providing one-to-one short-term (up to eight sessions) emotional support and stabilisation, at a time which is right for them following recent or historical sexual violence.
