Lift Voice alarm system

Tender description

LJMU plan to replace the existing TVCL emergency lift alarm monitoring system with a new 4g digital solution. We have 40+ lifts across the University spread across numerous sites which will require new equipment. <br /><br />The existing system relies on 2G Sim connections and analogue lift emergency phones of varying manufacture and condition with the majority being Memcom. The systems currently link through to a dedicated phone line within the University security lodge. <br /><br />The new proposed Memco Avire open protocol system will have a digital platform and have a cloud-based hub to monitor the systems along with connection to the lift alarm receiving phone. The works will involve the replacement of the existing 2G communication device and the installation of a DCP to each lift, the amount of works required will depend on the existing voice alarm communication system and device type. Where the full system is being replaced it will include, wiring to the lift car, pit, car top and motor room to provide a fully digital communication system.
