Emotional Support Service for Non-Acute Child Sexual Abuse

Tender description

The service will provide assessment and early emotional trauma informed support to the young person and their ‘safe’ parents / carers. <br/><br/>The existing provider will also offer a service for children and young people where there is a concern about the likelihood, or possibility of sexual abuse, which will include advice to determine the appropriate response pathway. Lot 1: - the service provision is for emotional support for non-acute child sexual abuse; <br/>- there is a requirement to develop a new contract to replace existing contract for the ongoing provision of this services (the proposed contracting arrangements are not changing considerably from the existing contract);<br/>- the relevant authority intend to award a contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C<br/>- the lifetime value of the contract is £392,000 excluding VAT; and<br/>- the services are intended to be provided with effect from 01 April 2025 for 12 months, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, up to 31 March 2027.
