QUB/2715/25 Framework for Lab Consumables and Chemicals

Tender description

Queen’s University Belfast (Queen’s) require the Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Consumables and Chemicals. These products will be for the general University and delivery will be required at various sites throughout the campus. For more information on the University’s sites, please click on the following campus map – Campus Map<br /><br />Queen’s wish to establish a framework agreement which will be categorised into seven lots as detailed below:- <br /><br />Lot 1 General Glass<br />Lot 2 Quick Fit Glass<br />Lot 3 Lab Consumables<br />Lot 4 Tissue Culture / Laboratory Plastics<br />Lot 5 Tissue Culture Consumables<br />Lot 6 Chemicals<br />Lot 7 Health, Safety and Hygiene<br /><br />It is anticipated that a framework of Economic Operators shall be appointed under each of the above-identified lots.<br /><br />Economic Operators are invited to tender for one, two or all seven Lots. There are no restrictions on how many Lots an Economic Operator can apply for. Each Lot will be evaluated independently against the evaluation criteria and Queen’s reserves the right to award each Lot separately.<br /><br />It is Queen’s intention to appoint no more than 10 Economic Operators to each Lot. However, should there be lack of products offered in a Lot, Queen’s reserves the right to expand this number to a suitable number of Economic Operators to fulfil the Lot requirement. This will be at Queen’s discretion. <br /><br />Provision will be awarded on the basis of the top-ranked provider within each lot, a mini-competition, or based on a product of specific quality/request of a product at the discretion of Queen’s.<br /><br />
