SEND Post 16 Supported Internships

Tender description

The Government's 'Preparing for Adulthood' agenda places a statutory requirement upon Local Authorities to prepare young people for the world of work from Year 9 onwards. Supported Internships are a UK wide initiative that provide a balance between educational learning and work experience where interns are able to apply the skills learnt in practice. Hackney Council will be creating a framework of up to three suitably qualified providers for Post 16 Support Internships and is inviting providers to register their interest in this upcoming tender opportunity. The tender will be published in late February under the Public Contract Regulations(2025). The framework will commence in October 2025. To register your interest in the upcoming tender please register on the London Tender Portal to be notified when the tender is issued. The scheduled date (indicative) for tender publish is 20th February 2025. The framework duration will be for just under two years (1st October 2025 - 31st August 2027), with an option for 2 further years. Please note this PIN is not a call for competition.
