This procurement falls below the Light Touch Regime In the summer of 2024, the City Corporation conducted a gap analysis of the current service provision of mentoring across London. The research identified several communities underserved by the current mentoring provision. The City Corporation is seeking to close these gaps, creating opportunities for care-experienced youth, as well as for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND herein). This targeted intervention will address the specific needs of the target groups, supporting young people to build positive, transformative relationships that promote the personal and professional development of service users. The estimated contract value given is for the full duration of the contract including the maximum possible extensions. The estimated annual contract value is therefore £100,000) This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system 'City of London Corporation Sourcing & Contracts Portal' (www.City of London Corporation Sourcing & Contracts Portal.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate and registration is free.
