London Accommodation Pathfinder Market Engagement Exercise

Tender description

The London Borough of Camden will be leading on the procurement exercise for the re-commissioning of the London Accommodation Pathfinder Service which is a pan-London accommodation-based service for 10 males at any one time between age of 16 – 17 years. Our vision through the delivery of this pathfinder is that we avoid custody where possible for children aged 16 and 17 (and those who turn 18 whilst in this placement). By providing an alternative to custody we will be able to avoid future extensive contact with the criminal justice system and reduce reoffending rates for children, some of whom are disproportionally represented in the criminal justice system. A high percentage of children remanded are from Global Majority backgrounds, and a significant amount of these children are not found guilty of the offences they are remanded for.
