Great Ouse Valley Designation in Huntingdonshire: Business Case, Delivery Options and Appraisal

This project is jointly developed and delivered by Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) and the Great Ouse Valley Trust (GOVT). This project will develop a business case for the creation of a Great Ouse Valley ‘valued landscape’1, outlining the economic, environmental, ecological, and social benefits of this, and the cost and resources required to deliver amongst stakeholders and partners. It will answer key questions: Why should it be done? How should it be done? How will it work in practice??? HDC council and the Great Ouse Valley Trust are working together to issue a request for quotes to limited number of potential suppliers for the development of a business case for the creation of a Great Ouse Valley ‘valued landscape’. We intend to organise a market engagement event to refine the requirement with potential suppliers. The market engagement event will take place on Monday the 3rd of March via MS Teams. However, we invite any potential supplier interested in attending in the tender event or interested in submitting a quotation to express interest via the portal by Wednesday the 26th of February 2025.
