Water Treatment Contract for Energy Centre

Tender description

The Energy Centre at the University of Birmingham, contains 5 Package boilers from 16T to 7.5t per hour and operates 24/7/365, also included are 2 Waste Heat Boilers. 1 x 18T/hr and 1 x 1500kg/hr boiler.<br /><br />The Energy Centre uses one chemical addition at 3 locations, One dosing station for ringmain water, 1 sited at No5 Boiler and 1 sited at WHB2 due to their proximity at the end of the ringmain system.<br /><br />To Provide on-site water treatment products for the boilers and condensate system using Cetamine G817.<br />To provide monthly water analysis to verify the efficacy of the treatment and to submit monthly reports to Birmingham University, detailing any recommendations or actions taken.<br />To carry out an annual service on the Fleck 2910 NXT2 Duplex Softener. Spares to be included, 2 x Fleck 2910 Brine Valves 4 Gallon PM and 4Ltrs x ACCEPTA 2287.<br />Clean and Disinfection of Resin.<br />To test and dose as required an enclosed district heating system, Using Cetamine F365.<br />To supply 147 x 25Kg bags of granular softener salt (to be delivered as required) per annum.<br />
