THE RS5C FRAMEWORK IS ADVERTISED FOR ROOFING CONTRACTORS. This opportunity has been listed on behalf of LHC Procurement Group and our regional businesses: Consortium Procurement Construction (CPC) London and South East (LSE) Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) South-West Procurement Alliance (SWPA) Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) This is an early market engagement advert to provide awareness for a future tender opportunity for a Roofing Systems & Associated Works Framework Agreement. This framework is for contractors, with a focus on supply and installion of roofing systems. The new Roofing Systems Framework (RS5C) will be the successor to LHC's current and successful roofing Agreement (RS4) which is due to expire in May 2025. The aim in the development of this framework will be to provide an efficient, value for money procurement route for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies for the design, supply and delivery of roofing systems and associated works in all types of public sector refurbishment and new build projects; including: - Multi occupancy residential buildings (low/medium/high rise) - Schools - Colleges - Universities - Public offices - NHS buildings - Blue Light buildings - Other public buildings The tender documents are planned to be published through the In-tend portal on the 21st February 2025. An initial launch webinar providing guidance to bidders will be available in the first week of March. Lot 1: Traditional Flat Roofing Refurbishment, Replacement and New Build of the following - Built-up Roofing Systems - Torch-On Felt Roofing Systems - Cold-Applied Felt Roofing Systems - Single-Ply Bitumen Membrane Systems - Hot-Melt Roofing Systems All contractors are required to be accredited with a minimum of one of the following Roofing Manufacturers at the time of tender submission, however if they hold the required accreditation, the contractor can bid for more than one / all manufacturers if they choose to do so. The list of manufacturers for lot 1 traditional flat roofing are: - Alumasc Building Products Ltd - Bauder Ltd - Garland UK - IKO PLC - Langley Waterproofing Systems LTD - Sika Limited Lot 2: Liquid Flat Roofing Refurbishment, Replacement and New Build of the following - Cold-Applied Liquid Roofing Systems - Hot-Applied Liquid Roofing Systems - Polyurethane-Based Liquid Roofing Systems - Polymeric Liquid Roofing Systems - Reinforced Liquid Membrane Roofing Systems All contractors are required to be accredited with a minimum of one of the following Roofing Manufacturers at the time of tender submission, however if they hold the required accreditation, the contractor can bid for all manufacturers if they choose to do so. This workstream is designed to provide a comprehensive solution for projects that require the integration of flat and pitched roofing systems. It establishes guidelines for contractors to ensure seamless execution, quality assurance, and compliance across all roofing types within a single project. All contractors are required to be accredited with a minimum of one of the following Roofing Manufacturers at the time of tender submission, however if they hold the required accreditation, the contractor can bid for more than one / all manufacturers if they choose to do so.
