Tender description

The Existing Estate Improvement Programme is focused on the long-term strategic improvement of existing buildings. There are nine projects, within Phase 1 of this programme, that require a team to produce a RIBA Stage 0 to 2 designs for the University to fully assess the costs, risks and benefits or each project and decide whether to progress some, or all, of the projects into the delivery phase. If agreed to be moved forward each area of work will require a business case to be developed and produced to support the moving forward of the works and to substantiate the risk, cost and solutions for agreement. The procurement of a consultant team will then be undertaken to take these projects through Riba Stages 3 and 4 and then on to FBC. If approval is then given to proceed a further procurement exercise will be undertaken to appoint and delivery team and a main contractor.<br />
