The development of design options and an options appraisal process to produce an outline design for the River Batherm Floodplain Reconnection Project to the east of Bampton for the outline design for natural flood management through delivery of 4 work packages: 1. Develop potential options through Desk top study and site visits 2. Model proposed options to evidence and quantify change in downstream flood risk. 3. Share Options with the landowners, Devon County Council, and Environment Agency. Undertake workshop to gain input from the stakeholders. 4. Develop an outline design for the preferred option including a high-level indicative programme, consenting route and cost estimates (indicative).
