Tender description

Southern Water is conducting the fourth and intended final phase of market engagement for the Hampshire Water Transfer and Water Recycling Project (HWTWRP). The Hampshire Water Transfer Recycling Project (HWTWRP) aims to provide long-term water supply resilience for the Hampshire region, addressing drought resilience, climate change, environmental protection, and population growth. The project scope includes design, build, finance, operation, and maintenance of new water infrastructure, including water recycling, water transfer, and substantial tunnelling works. The project will be procured using Ofwat’s Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) model, with a Competitively Appointed Provider (CAP) to deliver the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain project.
