University of the West of Scotland (UWS) requires a Virtual Learning Environment platform. Call off from Framework Value Adding VLE Systems and Associated Services Lot 1 - Proprietary VLE Systems. Lot 1: University of the West of Scotland (UWS) requires a Virtual Learning Environment platform. UWS is organised into four distinct Schools: Business and Creative Industries; Computing, Engineering, and Physical Sciences; Education and Social Sciences; and Health and Life Sciences. While these schools form the core academic structure, the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) may also support other areas such as professional services, external and commercial continuing professional development (CPD), and internal staff development, which currently rely on other systems. Additionally, the VLE could accommodate part-time, commercial, or international programme delivery, expanding its utility beyond traditional academic use. UWS expects the new learning system to facilitate and stimulate the unique UWS student experience, to provide a compelling social learning and support space.
