AHDB intend to procure a Contract to a successful agent for the provision of representation work on behalf of AHDB covering the Netherlands market with some reach to Belgium, principally covering beef and lamb. AHDB are looking for Dutch/English speaking AHDB intend to procure a Contract to a successful agent for the provision of representation work on behalf of AHDB covering the Netherlands market with some reach to Belgium, principally covering beef and lamb. AHDB are looking for Dutch/English speaking speaking representative to develop the market for British lamb and beef. The successful representative must have the expertise and experience to identify the right priority markets, along with the ability to devise the best local strategies to achieve effective market growth for British lamb and beef as well as ensuring value for money for levy payers is provided. The estimated contract start date is the 1st April 2026. 2.5 Responsible for driving value and volume sales, the successful representative will be expected to: • Liaise closely with the AHDB Exports team, to agree and update on activity and provide the latest market intelligence and insights • Identify and develop priority markets for British lamb and beef • Effectively maintain and build new relationships with relevant contacts in the Dutch market. Where appropriate, work jointly with them to increase market exposure and demand for British lamb and beef • Devise and implement effective local strategies to promote British lamb and beef aimed at increasing awareness and brand loyalty • Act as a brand ambassador for British produce • Liaise with central AHDB staff in areas such as media, PR, digital. The estimated value of the Contract is approx.. £170,000 (VAT inclusive) per annum.
