DS532-25 Firefighting Foam concentrate for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority

Tender description

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority (the Authority) invites for suppliers to engage and inform the user requirements, procurement and ongoing management of future contracts for the supply of firefighting foam concentrate. The Authority has an ongoing requirement for the supply of firefighting foam concentrate to extinguish 'Class A' fires, for example, solid fuel fires, hydrocarbon fires and vehicle fires and for containment of spillage such as fuel spillages on roads and to extinguish 'Class B' fires, for example, those involving liquid hydrocarbon, polar solvent and alcohol. Indicative timescales for the tender process will be available once the consultation is concluded and the detailed requirements developed and approved. At this stage, we anticipate the tender will be issued in December 2025 or January 2026.
