Conservation Areas Community Engagement Pilot

Tender description

The Contractor will be responsible for a programme of community engagement and action to support and enrich the Conservation Area Appraisal review and Conservation Area Management Plan processes in Brixham Town, Torbay Harbour and Old Paignton Conservation Areas. In each Conservation Area, this will include: • Supporting our existing filmmaking contractor • Organising engagement activities to support the creation of a new CAMPs model in collaboration with the Heritage & Design team • Facilitating community research into local history in each pilot CA • Supporting community sharing of research in creative/enjoyable ways • Helping local people to design projects that can be delivered through the THP delivery phase, in consultation with the Heritage & Design team • Feeding into the Torbay Heritage Place development year evaluation.
