Quick Quote - Supply of Railway Crossing Units 2025

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide Railway Crossing units to Isle of Man Railways, Department of Infrastructure, that shall be provided by Friday 30th January 2026.<br /><br />The supplier shall provide suitable railway crossing units to construct a 9m wide crossing and a second 5.4m wide crossing as shown on the attached design drawing NR-687-DWG-001.<br /><br />They shall be suitable for our 914mm track gauge, BS80 (CEN39E1) Rail, our Concrete Type A sleepers, Gant Rail Fixings and ballasted track, section drawing attached. The crossing units shall cover the inside gauge face (locally known as the 3ft) and both outside edge faces (cess/6ft). They must be of a system that is suitable for highway usage, capable of taking vehicle loading for standard highway vehicles. <br /><br />They must be a removable system that shall allow for track maintenance when required and allow for little to no difference from our standard construction model. <br /><br />The attached documentation consists of:<br />- The Quick Quote Request Document<br />- Douglas Yard (Phase 2) Detailed Track Design GA<br />- IMR - Standard Construction Layout<br />- IMR Concrete Type A Sleeper<br /><br />The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on Wednesday 19th November 2025 and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on Friday 21st November 2025 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline. <br /><br />Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.<br /><br />After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.<br /><br />If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.<br /><br />Please note, unless otherwise advised, all Quick Quote Competitions will be subject to the Isle of Man Government Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and/or Services, a copy of which can be found under the `Supplier Information & Privacy Policies` tab.<br />
