Tender description

Maynooth University is undergoing significant operational and strategic expansion within a recently changed external regulatory framework. Given both of these factors the Governing Authority (GA) wish to review the governance framework across the University to ensure all functions are appropriately discharged and monitored. In line with provision 4.5 of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies (2016), the GA is seeking an independent provider to undertake an external review of the efficiency and effectiveness of the GA of Maynooth University and its associated governance structures. The provider, in the carrying out of the review and production of the report, will be accountable to a Governance Working Group (“WG”) which has delegated authority on behalf of the GA.
