Cornish Hedge Capital Project - Farm Carbon valuation methodology

Tender description

The consultant will develop a robust valuation methodology by identifying and applying appropriate techniques to assess the ecosystem services provided by Cornish Hedges. This will include a detailed valuation of four distinct regional hedge styles, taking into account variations in structure and woody tops for carbon storage and sequestration. The valuation methodology should take into account established Cornish Hedges and new Cornish Hedges to demonstrate potential. Four regional styles will be assessed as part of this project. The final report will detail the methodology, data sources, assumptions, valuation outcomes, and recommendations, and will include a summary tailored for policy and public audiences. The consultant will also contribute to the development of a Cornish Hedge Unit to support green finance initiatives.
