Carers Supports and Services for Adult/Young Carers

South Lanarkshire Council Social Work Resources is seeking seeking to work in partnership with experienced third sector organisations who can deliver cost effective, outcome-based adult carer and young carer services that deliver on the priorities that are laid out in the Carers Strategy 2023 – 2026. It is anticipated the service provision will cover approximately 300 Adult Carer Referrals per quarter, and 60 Young Carers Referrals per quarter to provide a service for both new referrals and repeat referrals and support Adult Carer Support Plans and Young Carers Statements. Referral numbers could increase as a result of implementation of Care Reform (Scotland) Bill, and Rights to breaks for carers. Lot 1: At this stage within the Procurement The Council is just scoping the Market to see what provider/providers can provide the level of service we require and meet our needs. The contract period is likely to be 3 years + 3years or 3years +2+1.
